rock band Classes

Our Virtual Band Project is a unique opportunity for kids and teens to play and learn together, develop songs, record their parts and make a great band video from the safety of their home.  We balance learning cover songs while always encouraging original songwriting.  Live performances are replaced by collaborative split-screen music videos.

PLay iN a band: Virtual Band Project (VBP)

This is an exciting new approach that allows kids to collaborate with other young musicians to create a music video of a live performance of a song.

    • Through a combination of band meetings, individual lessons and practice time, the teacher helps to guide the students through the process of learning their song parts, honing their instrumental skills and video recording their performances.
    • Our staff will then edit the individual audio/video recordings into a video of the band performing the song together.
    •  Kids will be placed in groups of 3-5 players/singers
    • One band video edit is included in each 6-week session. Additional editing fee applies for additional videos.
    • Includes weekly 1-hour group lessons and 30-minute private lessons.

“The Virtual Band Project was terrific! We love the tune and the boys sound really good together! I can tell that the students and teacher put a lot of effort into this – you guys rock!”

The Reviews Are In

Authentic experience

“Replay engages kids in an authentic band experience that’s instructive, creative, and wildly fun.”

Peta

Mom of band member, vocal and keyboard student

creative collaboration

“Replay coach Dan promotes a strong ethic of creative collaboration among band members. He’s helped our son fully realize his creative ideas, taking them from notes scratched on paper to full-blown songs. As we’ve all been forced to work remotely, he’s kept the creative songwriting process going through collaborative recording projects.”

Michael

Dad of 16 year old band member and drummer
